Our mission is to build God’s kingdom by educating people about the joy of planned giving and facilitating gifts that support Christian ministries.
On the calendar of the Christian church, the period encompassing the four Sundays before Christmas marks the season of Advent. The word advent means “coming” or “arrival.” The season is characterized by a sense of expectation or longing for the coming of the Christ Child and the redemption of His people at His second coming. Advent observances focus on four major tenets: hope, preparation, joy, and love. During these times of economic uncertainty and busyness leading up to Christmas, those searching for true hope have only to look as far as the Child in the manger. It is through Him alone that we have the hope of salvation and eternal life. (Isaiah 12:2)
The ministries supported by the Foundation exist to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a world in search of hope. To make an immediate gift to one of these ministries, explore our Ways to Give page. If you’re interested in making a planned gift to one of these ministries or another of your choosing, please call us. We’ll put you in touch with a gift planner who can assist.
Wishing you blessings during this season of Advent,
The staff and Board of LFOT
