Investment Overview
The Lutheran Foundation of Texas was organized in 1960 as a charitable, non-profit, tax-exempt, 501[c] [3] ministry in the Texas District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. The Foundation exists as a servant ministry to benefit Lutherans and Lutheran ministries in the Texas District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.
The Lutheran Foundation of Texas manages funds and investments in planned gift accounts for individuals and ministries through planned giving instruments such as Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Lead Trusts, Charitable Revocable Living Trusts, Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts, Gift Annuities, Endowment Funds, and Church/Agency Fund Management Accounts. Currently, the Foundation manages over $31 million in assets held in 453 accounts.
