Larry P. Ohls, Chief Executive Officer larryo@lfot.org
Larry became Chief Executive Officer for the Lutheran Foundation of Texas in January 2010. He joined the organization in September 2009. He has 37 years experience in business and management roles. He has served as the regional director for a major technology firm prior to owing his own business. In 1997 he became the owner of a technology firm in San Antonio Texas. He sold the company in 2008 and served another year as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
He is a 1972 graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBA in marketing. He received a commission in the U.S. Army in May 1972. After completing his active duty he was a reserve officer and was honorably discharged in May 1980 with the rank of Captain. He is a native Texan and was baptized and confirmed in the LCMS. He has served as the President of three LCMS congregations in Texas. He is currently a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in San Antonio.
Larry married his wife, Carolyn, in January 1970 and has three children and four grandchildren.
Brian D. Hamilton, Chief Financial Officer brianh@lfot.org
Brian Hamilton joined the Lutheran Foundation of Texas in 2009. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas. His responsibilities involve ensuring integrity in the Foundation's financial reporting, trust operations, banking and investment services relationships, tax compliance, and investment portfolio.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Brian served as Chief Financial Officer and Controller with several premier non-profit healthcare institutions and in a private enterprise serving the hospital industry. His accomplishments include management of investment portfolios, design and implementation of financial software systems, and oversight of a complex liability insurance program for an international organization. He also served four years in public accounting with a Big 4 firm.
Brian earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and his MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. Brian, his wife, and two daughters are actively involved in the life and ministries of Hill Country Bible Church - Northwest and Hill Country Christian School of Austin.
Gretchen Kroesch, Controller kroesch@lfot.org
A native of New York State, Gretchen Kroesch has resided in Texas since 1984. She received her BA with a major in mathematics and a minor in business administration from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. Gretchen joined the LFOT staff in 1998. Prior to that, she worked for Buck Consultants of New York, New York, and Custom Benefit Services, Austin, Texas, in the actuarial field. Together with her family, she is a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Georgetown, Texas.

Jeanne Kretzmann joined the staff as executive secretary in July, 2008. She was previously employed at Concordia University Texas. Dr. Kretzmann and her husband, Rev. James Kretzmann, live near Taylor.

A part-time LFOT employee since 1996, Joyce prepares materials for congregations and other ministries to encourage giving to their endowments at LFOT, and prepares gift information for publication. Joyce and Mike, her husband, are the parents of two sons and have four grandchildren. They are members at Our Savior, Austin.
